Sabotage is what we do to ourselves when we try to choose something that we have a Human File Permission set to ‘No’ around. You see a person you really like, you go up to them, you forget how to speak, you talk nonsense and start sweating … and they think you’re an idiot. Simple! A classic example of self-sabotage.
Maybe a person has the opportunity and capacity to launch a fantastic project, but because they were told they had to “go into the family business” they don’t even register their potential for the project in their Conscious Mind. That’s a more subtle example of self-sabotage, but is exactly the same thing.
We unintentionally employ sabotage to make sure we don’t allow ourselves to succeed in those areas where we have been taught we’re not allowed to achieve.
