Attachment and Resistance

Attachment and resistance (and also therefore Fear Consciousness and self-judgement) are also known as ‘Charge’.

For example, where we might say, “She has resistance to being poor and attachment to having money”, we might similarly say, “She has a Charge around money.” And: “He has attachment to his relationship with Alice, and fear of losing her love (resistance to that)” might similarly be said as, “He has a Charge around Alice.”

Note that ‘unattached’ doesn’t mean cold, uncaring, dissociated or divorced from feeling. It’s merely the healthy relationship to life and self; it means in fact that we’re in touch with what we truly feel. Attachment and resistance are dissociated from what we truly feel underneath the Fear Consciousness.
